ON Tribe 2019 RSVPs close 11 August!
Calling all Alumni! ON Tribe Forum is a two-day event specially curated for all graduates of ON. That means that no matter what ON program you went through or when, you’re invited to come along!
11-12 September is your chance to mingle with peers, catch up with mentors and facilitators and hear from ON Alumni who’ve been there and done that. This year’s ON Tribe Forum will be held at the beautiful Melbourne Town Hall, in Melbourne CBD.
ON Tribe Forum 2019 brings us back to our roots, with a focus on real Australian researchers that have walked the paths you’re on. You’ll get the chance to hear from 17 amazing speakers including James Palmer from Silentium Defence, Kate Lyall from Bee Innovative and Laura Jones of RapidAim.
Over the two days, there will be a range of hands-on practical workshops including media training with one of Australia’s most sort-after media coaches – Catriona Dixon – and a networking masterclass with seasoned entrepreneur and lean innovator Andy Lamb (just to name a few). After all, ON’s not just about listening – we’ll get you to do.
This year we’re also bringing back the Mentor Market place – which gathers a range of expert mentors in one location. You can tour the Mentor Marketplace to tap into ON’s network of incredible mentors, with skills spanning business, fundraising, storytelling and tech – and all of them ready to help steer your research to success.
It doesn’t end there – we’ve also got a very exciting keynote to announce soon!
There will be an event app released closer to the date so you can track and attend your sessions and masterclasses as well as connect instantly with other attendees, be they mentors, facilitators or fellow alumni. We’ll also be bringing back our Mentor Marketplace where you can find people that are passionate about making a change and able to help you. There’s no excuse for not growing your networks!
ON Impact Awards
For the first time ever, we’ll also be hosting the first ON Impact Awards where we’ll recognise and celebrate Alumni for the impact that they’ve made solving Australia’s massive challenges in environmental, economic and social fields. You’ll have a say on the winning team too! Read more about the Awards.
